$25 per person for 1 hour, $15 per person for our half hour slots. $20 per person for groups of 10 or more.
Our minimum age is 12 years old.
Each axe pit holds a maximum of 10 players. If you are spectating, we ask to view from the dining area. The pits are reserved for axeletes only.
You would email the bar manager at events@thelumberjackmn.com to set up a semi-private party. We require at least 2 weeks advance for larger groups.
Our last reservation for axe throwing is 9:30 until 10 pm Wednesday thru Saturday and 6:30 until 7 on Sunday.
We provide 18” and 12” axes for throwing.
Yes, you have an axe coach assigned to your pit for your entire session to teach you and cheer you on.
Yes, kids 12 and up. If kids are younger than 12 we ask they spectate with an adult from the dining area to maximize safety.
We are located in the lowest level of JX Event Venue Building at 123 2nd Street North. Our main entrance is on Commercial Street, located between Main and 2nd (1/2 block west of Main St.)
There is free street parking throughout downtown. A great quick and easy options is the Stillwater Public Parking Ramp. It is attached to the Lowell Inn, at 200 2nd St North, only a half block away and frequently has parking.
Every Thursday is either open mic, or a performer. Occasionally we have bands scheduled on weekends-check out our events calendar for upcoming shows.
Dogs are welcome only on our patio during the summer months. During that time we offer bowls of water for your furry friends.
We do not, but have many board games, playing cards, shuffle board, and most importantly axe throwing!
Dining is based on a first come first served basis.
Happy hour runs from 5-6 Wednesday thru Friday and 2-4 Sunday ($5 off axe throwing and $2 off drinks), Thursday is half price bottle wine and $1.50 off taps after happy hour, Sundays kids (12-18 years old) throw free for every paying adult.
Our kitchen hours are 8 pm Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 Friday and Saturday, and 6:30 on Sunday. We are driven by clientele demand and reservations so times can vary slightly.
You may bring in any store bought birthday cake. Minnesota health code does not allow homemade foods in establishments.
We do not allow eating in the axe pits. We recommend you arrive 90 minutes prior to your reservation for dining. You can also request a dining table at the beginning of your axe session, and if available, your server will reserve a space.
